Learning Objective
Breathe with your intercostal muscles while keeping your chest and belly still.
What You Need:
- Resistance band or scarf
- Mirror (recommended)
- Exercise mat
Lesson Sequence:
- Exercise 1 - Lateral Breathing with Resistance Band (1:00)
- Exercise 2 - Lateral Breathing in Seated and Supine Positions with Roll-Up (5:00)
Notes & Modifications:
- If you´re unable to do a Roll-Up to sitting at the end of Exercise 2, then roll onto your side to sit up.
